In 202331, electricity consumed from renewable sources accounted for 99.98% of the total electricity consumed under its operational control. In addition, MERLIN purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) for some assets in the framework of their LEED and BREEAM certifications. Thanks to this green energy purchase mechanism, in 2023, the Group acquired a total of 4,941 GJ, worth approximately USD 3,790.
