MERLIN Properties | 119 A total of 41 employees took sick leave at MERLIN in 2022, one employee more than in 2021. The number of occupational accidents has decreased mainly because the sick leave taken due to COVID was classified as an occupational accident and the number of infections from one year to the next has decreased considerably. The sick leave taken due to illness has remained more or less the same. There was an increase in parental leave taken for the birth of a child, which increased from 8 cases in 2021 to 13 in 2022.
