MERLIN Properties | 117 WAGE GAP ANALYSIS The total compensation earned per employee by the average number of employees has been taken into account to calculate the average remuneration and the wage gap. The 2022 remuneration includes an extraordinary bonus, granted by the Board of Directors, on a general basis to all employees not included in the group benefiting from the long-term incentive, consisting of a special remuneration of a maximum of 2 monthly payments. Total compensation earned includes all compensation accrued in a financial year, which would include: • Fixed salary. (Includes all remuneration received by the employee during the year including salary increases, components of collective bargaining agreement, bonuses, sickness or accident benefits, temporary disability compensation and all remuneration agreed as fixed salary in general with employees). • Variable remuneration (including annual bonuses and extraordinary bonuses). • Remuneration in kind (health insurance, life insurance, shares and flexible remuneration) • Compensation and severance payments.
