ı 79 ı Annual Report 2017 Generation of photovoltaic electricity in MERLIN’s assets MERLIN has two photovoltaic plants in two of its assets: Vía Norte business park and Coslada logistic asset. Both plants together generated 1,910 GJ of renewable electricity in 2017. This electricity was not self-consumed but is fed back to the grid. Electricity consumption at MERLIN Properties’ headquarters Since March 2017, all employees in Madrid are reunited in a single headquarters, occupying two floors of an office building, as a tenant. These floors together have an area of 1,855 m 2 . Electricity consumption on these floors as from March 2017 amounts to 575 GJ, what means a power intensity of 0.31 GJ/m 2 .
